I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Writing and Communication from ABAC in the summer of 2024.

During my senior year at ABAC, I published multiple articles in the multi-award-winning student newspaper, The Stallion.

Additionally, I have professional experience with the following companies and fields unaffiliated with ABAC:

• Barista and Manager of Elements Coffee Co. in Albany, GA

  • 6 years’ professional experience (2018 to 2024)

  • Managed daily customer-facing operations in a fast-paced local business. Responsibilities included staff training, new-hire interviews, scheduling, customer service, conflict resolution, promotion of specials, public-facing communication, holiday/event presentation, and support for internal operations.

• General Laborer at Sam’s Club in Albany, GA

  • 1 year of professional experience (2017 – 2018)

  • Duties included collecting carts, organizing cart storage, cleaning the parking lot, helping club members load purchases onto vehicles, and restocking indoor product shelves.

• Construction Worker for Cable Connections Inc. in Albany, GA

  • 1 year of professional experience (2016 to 2017)

  • Duties included installing data and phone cables in commercial and governmental buildings, the termination or repair of cables laid by previous companies, troubleshooting cable connections, and general knowledge and use of various power tools and construction vehicles.

• Crew Chief at Stanley Steemer in Albany, GA

  • 1 year of professional experience (2014 to 2015)

  • Duties included teaching new hires, driving long distances, selling additional products to customers (on commission-based pay), emergency relief for homes damaged in natural disasters, and cleaning carpets, car interiors, tile, wood flooring, furniture, leather, and air ducts.

I also have volunteer experience with the following organizations:

• Sound Room Technician for Albany Gospel Chapel in Albany, GA

  • 5 years’ volunteer experience (2008 to 2015)

  • Duties included operation, upkeep, and repair of the church’s sound room and equipment, recording sermons, editing sermons, uploading sermons to the church’s website, burning sermons to physical CDs, designing CD labels, printing CD labels, applying CD labels, and distributing CDs to attendees upon request

• Cabin Leader for Camp Hope in Dahlonega, GA

  • 2 months volunteer experience (2018)

  • Duties included oversight of campers ages 8 to 12, organizing and teaching activities (bowery, canoeing, hiking, crafts, casual sports, etc.), planning and providing devotions and guidance in accordance with Christian Faith, providing disciplinary measures when needed, providing entertainment, and acting as Team Leader for organized sports and competitive activities.

Outside of professional and academic work, I have written across multiple formats, including fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, screenplays, podcasts, interactive fiction, tabletop games, and longform narrative projects.
